Stella Chachali graduated from the Faculty of Greek Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received her Master’s Degree from Potsdam University in Vergleichende Literatur- und Kunstwissenschaft with a scholarship from the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung. She is currently a PhD student in a cotutelle program between Potsdam University and the University of Athens and has received a doctoral scholarship from the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung. The topic of her thesis is “Die Wanderung der ästhetischen Kategorien in inszenierten intermedialen Beispielen von Bild und Schrift: Die unsichtbaren malerischen Schemata in der Literatur und die sichtbaren literarischen Schemata in der Malerei” [The Migration of Aesthetic Categories in Staged Intermedial Examples of Text and Image: The Invisible Pictorial Schemes in Literature and the Visible Literary Schemes in Painting].
