Marco Presago is a PhD candidate in the International PhD Programme in Literary and Cultural Studies (IPP) at the Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) and a research assistant at the Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany. His current research explores debate and controversy as spaces for negotiating literary value(s) in the context of Anglophone literary prizes, with a particular focus on the Booker Prize and its history.
